Acudetox has been used for more than a decade at Freedom House,Nepal  Helena Schouenborg  writes about her experiences at Freedom House Nepal :   . .....A few weeks before my journey was about to begin, I went to see the Director of the Lincoln Recovery Center and asked if he had any recommendations for my travels, since I knew he had spent many years in Asia. He had a critical expression on his face but suddenly gave in, and gave me contact details of friends of his in India and Nepal. I was very excited. He looked more concerned than satisfied. In September 2010, my journey finally began from New York to India, through Malaysia, Singapore and Nepal. In Nepal I met Rajendra, the director of Freedom House, a rehabilitation center for men. Freedom House is an in-patient facility for men, located in Katmandu, with beautiful surroundings. The clients stay at the facility as long as they can afford, but usually up to 3 months at a time. DARE works directly with Burmese ethnic communities to provide development and to strengthen addiction education and has been using ear-acupuncture (NADA Protocol) as an adjunct treatment

There are currently no other addiction prevention education, treatment, relapse prevention programs on the border.  Burma is one of the biggest illicit producers of opium, heroin and methamphetamines in the world.  Estimates of addiction rates in the ethnic areas of Burma range from 40 – 85% of the total population.  The majority of ethnic young people of Burma are reported to be addicted to methamphetamines, alcohol, nicotine and other drugs.  The reasons for these high addiction rates are rooted in the social and economic systems of Burma . DARE works directly with Burmese ethnic communities to provide development and to strengthen addiction education and treatment within the ethnic communities, and has been using ear-acupuncture (NADA Protocol) as an adjunct treatment. Mr. Vatsyayan went to the border area of Burma and Thailand in March, 2005, representing Nada India Foundation to develop the links with  the organizations. Nada India Acudetox Training workshop held at Visakhapatnam

Nada India Foundation & Indian Association of Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (IAADS)   organized a Training workshop on use of earacupuncture as per NADA Protocol for addiction treatment and general well being   held at 7 Radiations - SATCH office Visakhapatnam Andhra Pradesh on 12th Aug.2012 .
