Training workshop on use of ear acupuncture at Nisargopachar Kendra (Naturopathy cum Yog center) at Vinoba Ashram, Gotri, Vadodara Gujarat

Training workshop on use of ear acupuncture as per NADA Protocol for wellness, addiction treatment and general well being for naturopaths and  students held at Nisargopachar Kendra (Naturopathy cum Yog center) at Vinoba Ashram, Gotri, Vadodara Gujarat on 14th March .2011 and Central Prison Vadodara,Gujarat India


Acudetox Program at "The Beginning of New Life a Peer led De-addiction Center"

Today,Nada India team including Pallavi and Suneel visited "The Beginning of New Life a Peer led De-addiction Center" at Sulatanpur Village. Dr.Uttam Singh has been giving acudetox treatments twice a week  to 14-15 patients on an average. Mr.Anant a final year student of IIPM joined Nada volunteer Development program from today onward and will be giving his voluntary services at Acudetox program and assist Dr.Uttam Singh NADA,ADS. 



Thanks to Mr.Satyendra Prakash former Director ,NISD for highlighting the social initiatives like ear acupuncture for addiction treatment and rehabilitation in its true spirit.

National Institute of Social Defence (Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment Govt. of India )NISD Newsletter March ,2005 featured NADA Ear Acupuncture Protocol for Addiction treatment &  Rehabilitation .......then Consulting Editor NISD Newsletter Mr.Vagish K.Jha spoke to Dr.Michael O. Nada India has joined hands as partner NGO with Karuna Care Foundation

Nada India has joined hands as partner NGO with Karuna Care Foundation  to deal with the life style related issues like stress, alcohol and tobacco use among villagers of Sohna District Haryana. The staff have been trained in use of acudetox as an adjunct treatment during their health care counseling camps  in villages.
Dr.Michael O.Smith conducted NADA Acudetox workshop on 6th and 9th Feb 2012  for the Karuna staff along with Pallavi ,Suneel Vatsyayan  and Dr.Ajay Vats NADA ADS.
Nada India team members have been visiting Karuna Center periodically and continue to provide its inputs on regular basis. Dr.Ajay and other medical staff are giving acudetox sessions  and slowly it is becoming a popular among the villagers as it is non verbal mode of intervention along with counseling for alcohol and tobacco cessation.

IAADS announces next acudetox training programs in Kerala and Delhi

Nada India Foundation & Indian Association of Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (IAADS)  are pleased to announce theTraining workshop on use of ear acupuncture as per NADA Protocol for addiction treatment and general well beingto be held in Trivandrum Kerala  7Th June .2012 and 15th July in Delhi. The workshop will be conducted by Dr. James Doss and Dr.Ajay Vats respectively and facilitated by Suneel Vatsyayan. The workshops aim to facilitate a shared understanding of importance of barrier free services and skill in use ear acupuncture as an adjunct treatment at all stages of addiction treatment  (pre admission, detoxification and rehabilitation and after care).  This workshop also provides trainees with skills to use ear acupuncture (NADA Protocol three points). This also enables trainees in building greater confidence in producing effective approach in dealing with people, who avoid treatment,

Barrier Free Service : Use of ear acupuncture for treatment and rehabilitation of drug users at NISD

National Institute of Social Defence (NISD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India invited Nada India team to conduct a mini workshop on Barrier Free Service : Use of ear acupuncture for treatment and rehabilitation of drug users. NISD has been organising  3 Months Certificate Course on De-addiction Counselling and Rehabilitation  from 12th March to 10th June 2012 at NISD R.K.Puram , New Delhi.








This training course is to enhance the capacity of service providers (Project Incharge/Counsellors/Social Workers from different parts of India like Kerala,Chattisgarh, Zharkhand,U.P.Nagaland, Shilong,Karnataka,Maharashtra,Tamilnadu, Mizoram,Maharashtra ,Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi ) of NGOs working in the area of drug demand reduction in order to enable them to implement the program in efficient and effective manner. The most of the trainees wanted to get the ADS 70 hours training.
