Two major organizations named NADA India Foundation, New Delhi and 2nd Life Wellness Centre, Hyderabad have anchored the workshop. Mr SuneelVatsyayan, MSW, NADA ADS Chairman Nada India, New Delhi and Dr Sagar, NADA ADS2nd Life Wellness Centre, Hyderabad were the major resource persons.

The workshop aimed to facilitate the participants in developing programs and to address the issues of work life balance, Stress and Control /stop alcohol or tobacco. As the given issues are one of the major emerging areas of social work practices, the workshop helped students to see and realise how they can make the better and effective use of such techniques in their professional deliverable as a value added service. It was also observed that use of such techniques can also be applied for the healthy rapport building and developing trust with the clientage.
The workshop was very participative and interactive where all the participants have taken interest and found themselves free while sharing, discussing and seeking information and clearing their doubts.

Process Details: The workshop had two characteristic divides. In the first, Mr Suneel Vatsyayan started from our childhood experiences of how some fear gets fixed with our cognitive surface and impacts our present thoughts and feelings. For this Mr. Vatsyayan facilitated the participants to look back to their childhood and to find impressions of how we feared injections and needle but otherwise helpful for us. After that he discussed about AcudetoxNADA Protocol. He emphasised that Acudetox Counselling helps person to get relax from inside and to think consciously about self. He explained that human ear is main medium through which different body functioning are stimulated.
He pointed out specific designated points on human ear that when acupunctured with sterilised and disposable needles, generates some sensations that attract us to think of what is happening to the body, in turn consciousness and attention to self develops that is useful for the bringing back internal energies in more useful manner. Further it helps in preventing us from distractions and guiding us in the positive and productive direction.

Next divide was the Acudetox session where all the participants including faculty members have practically experienced the Acudetox Protocol through acupuncture on their ear for 30 minutes. After that feedback was taken from all. Different feeling and experiences were observed from different participants. Some have pointed out that during lecture they were feeling sleepy but after the acudetox session they feel energetic and fresh. Some have pointed out that before the session the PPT slides were not as vivid as they are after the acupuncture was over. Some said that they felt sensation and warmth around their ear which bound them to think consciously about is happening or happens to them as an impact of this session.
