Today,Nada India team including Pallavi and Suneel visited "The Beginning of New Life a Peer led De-addiction Center" at Sulatanpur Village . Dr.Uttam Singh has been giving acudetox treatments twice a week  to 14-15 patients on an average. Mr.Anant a final year student of IIPM joined Nada volunteer Development program from today onward and will be giving his voluntary services at Acudetox program and assist Dr.Uttam Singh NADA,ADS.  Dr.Uttam Singh along with Mr.Anant filling feedback form after the acudetox session 

National Institute of Social Defence (Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment Govt. of India ) NISD Newsletter March ,2005 featured NADA Ear Acupuncture Protocol for Addiction treatment &  Rehabilitation .......then Consulting Editor NISD Newsletter Mr.Vagish K.Jha spoke to Dr.Michael O. Smith and Suneel Vatsyayan on various aspects of De-addiction and alternative therapies....  Nada India and Indian Association of Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (IAADS) thank   Mr.Satyendra Prakash former Director ,NISD for highlighting  the social initiatives like ear acupuncture for addiction treatment in its true spirit.

Nada India has joined hands as partner NGO with Karuna Care Foundation   to deal with the life style related issues like stress, alcohol and tobacco use among villagers of  Sohna District Haryana.  The staff have been trained in use of acudetox as an adjunct treatment during their health care counseling camps  in villages. Dr.Michael O.Smith conducted    NADA Acudetox  workshop    on 6th and 9th Feb 2012   for the Karuna staff along with Pallavi ,Suneel Vatsyayan  and Dr.Ajay Vats NADA ADS. Nada India team members have been visiting Karuna Center periodically and continue to provide its inputs on regular basis. Dr.Ajay and other medical staff are giving acudetox sessions  and slowly it is becoming a popular among the villagers as it is non verbal mode of intervention along with counseling for alcohol and tobacco cessation.   ...

Nada India Foundation & Indian Association of Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (IAADS)  are pleased to announce the   Training workshop on use of ear acupuncture as per NADA Protocol for addiction treatment and general well being   to be held in   Trivandrum Kerala  7 Th June .2012 and 15 th July in Delhi. The workshop will be conducted by Dr. James Doss and Dr.Ajay Vats respectively and facilitated by Suneel Vatsyayan. The workshops aim to facilitate a shared understanding of importance of barrier free services and skill in use ear acupuncture as an adjunct treatment at all stages of addiction treatment  (pre admission, detoxification and rehabilitation and after care).  This workshop also provides trainees with skills to use ear acupuncture (NADA Protocol three points).
